Join the Purdue Women’s Network as we celebrate Homecoming with our annual fall luncheon! This year, we are hosting a panel discussion with Boilermaker women who have extensive experience in leadership and innovation. Our speakers include:

- Brooke Beier (BME’08, MS BME’10, PhD BME’11), senior vice president of Purdue Innovates
- Nathalie Duval-Couetil (MS EDU’99, PhD EDU’05), director of the Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program at Purdue
- Katie McNamee, founder of Elevate Online
- Kris Taylor (MS M’96), founder of Evergreen Leadership

The cost is $30 for members of the Purdue Alumni Association, President’s Council, and John Purdue Club. The cost for nonmembers is $35.

More About Our Speakers

Brooke Beier is the senior vice president of Purdue Innovates. She oversees the Office of Technology Commercialization, and she helps bring Purdue innovations into society by collaborating with industry partners and entrepreneurs. After completing her PhD, Beier began working as a development engineer in the Alfred Mann Institute for Biomedical Development at Purdue.

Nathalie Duval-Couetil is the founding director of the Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program, Purdue’s award-winning, cross-campus entrepreneurship program, which involves approximately 2,000 students each year. Through her leadership, the program has won two awards and was ranked among the Princeton Top 50 Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Programs. Duval-Couetil is also the associate director of the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship and a professor in the Department of Technology Leadership and Innovation.

Katie McNamee is the founder of Elevate Online, where she provides branding and marketing services to help business owners build meaningful relationships with their ideal clients. She is also a lecturer in Purdue’s Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program and a board member for the Indiana chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.

Kris Taylor founded Evergreen Leadership, a firm that partners with organizations to build leadership development programs. She previously worked as a lecturer in Purdue’s Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program. Taylor is also the author of The Leader’s Guide to Turbulent Times
