Purdue System-Wide Turnitin Training

Turnitin Originality is Purdue’s centrally supported originality checker for files submitted through Brightspace assignments.  Turnitin will host an online training for Purdue West Lafayette, Purdue Fort Wayne, Purdue Global and Purdue Northwest instructors.  The training will focus on:

• Creating an assignment with Turnitin enabled
• Viewing the new Similarity Report as an instructor
• Explaining how to distinguish plagiarism and text similarity
• Submitting to the assignment and viewing the report as a student
• Viewing and understanding the AI detection tool and new features
