To celebrate Purdue Galleries 50th anniversary, this exhibition features works by two of Purdue University’s alumni, contemporary printmakers Delita Martin (MFA 2009) and LaToya Hobbs (MFA 2013), and their mentor, printmaking professor emerita Kathryn Reeves. Featuring a mixture of new and existing works from the artists’ oeuvre, the exhibition explores identity, particularly the lived experiences of women, dismantling stereotypes, and celebrating feminine power through reproduction in both life and print media. Hobbs, Martin, and Reeves lean into the physicality of the printmaking process through visual and tactile layering found in their dynamic prints.

This exhibition is sponsored in part by Visit Lafayette - West Lafayette.
