Joint discussion of Environmental Justice and Water Challenges in Indiana

In August 2024, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce released a commissionedstudy on Indiana’s water supply intended to inform a futureintegrated water management plan for the state. General findings in thenew report reveal water in the state is plentiful, but not evenlydistributed. The report also outlines an iterative approach to developingregional and state water plans including relevant stakeholders. The ISFEnvironmental Justice and Water Challenges research communities willdiscuss the report findings, opportunities to include social justice inthe state water plan, and potential future research collaborations.Participants are encouraged to review the report summary before this eventhere.
