In this workshop, attendees will learn about Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and how it can be applied to courses and course materials so that they are accessible to as many learners as possible without the need for accommodation.

A common misconception is that nobody has time to make things accessible. While it does take additional labor, doing groundwork up front to make things accessible will, in reality, save time later.

Workshop topics include Brightspace Accessibility, Accessible Documents, Course Design Tips & Tricks, and Resources Available to Faculty & Staff.

Purdue University is committed to creating a campus that is fully accessible to all and to eliminating barriers for people with disabilities. To request an accommodation for this session, please email us at TLT@purdue.edu.
