We are thrilled to welcome Jing Yang, an accomplished global marketing strategist and proud Boilermaker, for a special guest lecture on integrated, forward-thinking leadership. Her lecture, "From Consumer Insight to Go-to-Market Strategy: Navigating a Woman's Leadership Journey in the Global Value Chain," will explore how visionary leadership bridges consumer understanding and global business execution.

With over 15 years of experience shaping strategy for a global Fortune 500 leader, Jing has spearheaded transformative initiatives across sales, go-to-market strategy, retail innovation, and digital commerce for U.S., China, and global business units. Her career is a masterclass in navigating the complexities of the global value chain by connecting deep consumer insight with strategic execution.

In this dynamic session, Jing will share her firsthand perspective on navigating leadership at the highest level. She will delve into:

🌟 Leading with Authenticity & Influence: Strategies for empowering diverse, cross-cultural teams and making an impact as a woman in global executive leadership.

🌟 The Insight-Driven Value Chain: Translating deep consumer understanding into smarter, more agile decisions across business planning, retailer partnership and joint value creation.

🌟 Go-to-Market as a Growth Engine: Harnessing the power of digital commerce and strategic partnerships to unlock new frontiers for growth.

This session, hosted by MGMT 46501: Strategic Sourcing and Procurement taught by Professor Zhan Pang at  Pudue Business School, is a must-attend for anyone aspiring to lead in global marketing and supply chain.  This course also conducts multiple case studies for students to learn about the best practice in supply chain, including Apple, Whirlpool, GM and P&G. As an industry leader, Jing's personal experience sharing in one of these world-class supply chain organizations will be a great complement to the case studies.
