The Roger C. Stewart Leadership and Professional Development Department will present the Essential Career Skills Series featuring Purdue Alumni speakers. These sessions focus on leadership competencies and their importance in preparing students to be career-ready.

Purdue alum of 2016, Emily Rames, will be joining us to discuss the importance of improving communication and the role it plays for career readiness. Emily currently works as a Library Assistant at the Tippecanoe Co. Public Library (JNH Branch) and also serves as the Community Organizer for Indiana Task Force. This session will provide students with insights on how leadership competencies and communication played a role in her development at Purdue and in her career.

This session will mark the first of the Essential Career Skills Series for this school year hosted by the Roger C. Stewart Leadership and Professional Development Department. This Essential Career Skills Series will be held at Schleman Hall 308 at 6:30 pm. The event is free for students to attend and food will be provided.
