An overview of a unique Daniels School of Business discussion course that over 8 weeks covers readings related to economics and public policy, especially in topics that would be of interest to future social studies teachers at the secondary level, but all majors are welcome to apply! As Elizabeth A. Walker, a former student of the course states: “The Economic Teaching Fellows course was beneficial to my academic and post-graduate career in many ways. It was nice to come together each week with like-minded people and discuss the intricacies of our present (and past) global economy. Hearing all the different perspectives aided me in forming my own personal philosophy on these issues, as well as opened my eyes to things I didn't consider before. Ultimately, this past autumn I accepted a job teaching Economics down in Avon, IN. This class helped me in ways I didn't realize until I was teaching- and it prepared me to discuss some of these hard topics with students of my own. Overall, if you are interested in this class, take the chance, and go for it. You never know what doors it will unlock for you.”

So please come join us for some refreshments and listen to Dr. Fox explain the perks of this course.
