Summer Commencement

Elliott Hall of Music will be closed from June 9, 2026 through January 16, 2027 for critical renovations. As a result, Purdue will not host a university-wide Summer 2026 commencement ceremony. Instead, the Summer and Winter 2026 ceremonies will be combined and held in December 2026 at Mackey Arena. This decision followed careful consideration of all available options, and due to the construction timeline and lack of an alternate venue, a summer event is not feasible. Summer 2026 graduates are encouraged to participate in the December ceremony, where all graduates will be honored in full. Summer graduates are invited to visit our returnee webpage to learn more and sign up to participate in the Winter 2026 ceremony.
