DESCRIPTION:Do you ever feel not heard? Overwhelmed from all the 1:1 meetin
 gs? Not connecting well with certain people? Notice those you work with st
 ruggle to overcome roadblocks? This session will give you frameworks\, ski
 lls\, and mindsets to show up for those (it is impossible to be at 100% al
 l of the time) you work with. With the busy world of technology\, understa
 ffing\, and life stressors\, this workshop will aid you in refocusing how 
 to best show up for others using coaching techniques to advise\, supervise
 \, and collaborate with others.\n\nThe program introduces intention and mi
 ndfulness presence needed for meetings with supervisees and students. Acti
 vities to engage mindfulness throughout preparation and execution will be 
 demonstrated.\n\nTo help assist before meetings\, we'll identify opportuni
 ties to set intentions\, goals\, and center gratitude for productive relat
 ionship building. During meetings\, strategies like reflections\, self-dis
 covery\, decision making\, goal setting\, open-ended questioning\, motivat
 ional interviewing\, appreciative inquiry\, visioning\, change talk\, fore
 casting challenges\, and feedback looping will be explored. After meetings
 \, we'll address follow-up support\, self-care\, and reflection to maintai
 n energy throughout the day.\n\nNavigating human interactions and external
  pressures can be overwhelming\, whether introverted or extroverted. This 
 session will expand your toolbox to stay present\, support others\, and ta
 ke care of yourself. When we show up for ourselves\, we can truly listen a
 nd support those we work with effectively.
