Add depth to your degree—Join us Oct. 8 to learn how African American Studies & American Studies can shape your future.

The School of Interdisciplinary Studies has options:

• Dual Degree (DEGREE PLUS) – If your primary major is outside the College of Liberal Arts (such as Engineering or Health & Human Sciences), you can earn a second degree from SIS in African American Studies or American Studies by adding just 30 credits. 2 Degrees - no extra time or tuition.
• Double Major – If your primary major is in the College of Liberal Arts, you can add a second major from SIS. There’s a lot of flexibility, with many opportunities for courses to count toward both majors.
• Minor – No matter what college your primary major is in, you can complement it with a minor from SIS with just 15 additional credits.
