On February 28th, 2024, Purdue University invites esteemed companies to participate in an exciting Professional Development Day, creating a unique platform for industry leaders to connect with exceptional student talent. This dynamic event offers various opportunities for companies to actively contribute to students' professional growth and gain firsthand insights into their potential.
The event kicks off at 9:00 AM and runs until 5:00 PM at the Purdue University Union. One of the main highlights is the Elevator Pitch Competition, where over 400 students will showcase their talents. Companies are invited to be judges and witness the extraordinary skills of Purdue's future professionals.
Additionally, there are LinkedIn Review Sessions where company representatives can provide valuable feedback on students' LinkedIn profiles, directly impacting their online professional presence. There are also Resume Review Sessions, allowing companies to engage with students by reviewing and offering insights on their resumes, helping them refine for a competitive edge.
The evening before our Professional Development day, there's an exclusive sponsorship opportunity for the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management's Etiquette Dinner. Companies can network with students majoring in Financial Planning, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Retail Management, and Selling and Sales Management.
Participation in the Professional Development Day is entirely free. To confirm attendance and register for specific activities, companies can visit the provided registration link.
